Lumière Labs Co. uses personal information to consider and respond to enquiries, deliver commissions and maintain this website.
When you contact us
Our enquiry form asks for your name, email, organization, role and the type of commission you are considering. You may also provide details about your project, timing, anticipated investment and website.
We use this information to assess whether we can help and to communicate with you. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Enquiries are delivered through Resend to our enquiries mailbox. The website database stores limited delivery and security records, including hashed identifiers, rather than a readable copy of your enquiry.
Website services
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the form against automated submissions. This involves processing technical information, including IP addresses and browser signals, for verification.
Adobe Fonts supplies our web font, and Vimeo supplies the embedded project films. These services receive technical information when your browser connects to them. We enable Vimeo’s Do Not Track option, but essential security cookies and previously stored Vimeo cookies may still apply. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Our website hosting and email providers also process information needed to operate these services. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be accessible to courts or authorities under local law.
Optional analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website and whether our enquiry form is working well. Analytics uses cookies and processes technical information about visits, including approximate location, browser and device information, pages viewed and interactions with films and the enquiry form.
We do not send your name, email address, enquiry text or project details to Google Analytics. Advertising features are disabled. You can decline optional analytics or change your choice through in the footer. Your choice does not affect your ability to view the website or send an enquiry.
We remember your analytics choice for six months. Analytics cookies expire after six months. Google Analytics is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months; aggregated reports may be retained longer. Withdrawing permission stops future collection but does not automatically delete information already collected.

Retention
Our policy is to retain enquiries that do not lead to a commission for up to 12 months. Records associated with commissions may be retained longer for project delivery, contractual obligations and applicable legal requirements.
Limited technical records are kept separately to support reliable delivery and protect the form against abuse.
